a grey sunday usually calls for coffee. en route to big bear to do some work (allie) and read (me), we wandered through the neighborhood farmers market to stock up on samples before settling into our nook. i splurged on bb's farmers market buffet lunch (worth it!) and downsized my regular soy latte to a regular cup of coffee-black (meh). best way to spend a gloomy afternoon.

other sunday highlights: spotting the lead singer of local dc band u.s. royalty across the cafe + haircut + hosting a family friend on her way to her college orientation at UMD. oh, the memories
