sf adventures. part deux.

(and yes, that IS me eating seafood. SEAFOOD. local, seasonal, sustainable, healthy seafood of course)

sf was a total whirlwind. (part un)

i haven't really brought my insta-a game to sf, but i know its only a matter of time before me and my iphone take this city by storm

we piled into the car in our sundresses, sandals and bathing suits early saturday morning (anything before 11:00 on the weekend is early), headed for quiet cambridge on the eastern shore for lauren's family bbq. everything from the 20+ desserts to the memphis made bbq to the picture perfect backyard spread was amazing. we stuffed ourselves silly (our american duty), indulging our food comas with cold beers, a few rounds of badminton and some pool time. nothing beats a good ol' pre 4th of july cookout.

jane austen's sense & sensibility at a real 19th century mansion *swoon* complete with white wine, glow sticks (as all jane austen themed events have), and 100 other adoring fans. be still my austen-obsessed heart!
